About Commercial Well Service

Commercial Well Service is a neutral, Canada-wide resource for the people who own and manage commercial water wells, and a directory of the Canadian contractors who serve them.

What this site is

The site has two halves. The first is practical guidance on inspecting, maintaining, testing and decommissioning a water well used for commercial, agricultural, government or municipal purposes. The second is a directory of Canadian well contractors that serve those clients, organised by province and territory and by category.

Who it is for

Scope: commercial only

This site is deliberately scoped to commercial water wells. Residential wells, residential service pages and "near me" landing pages are out of scope, and so is septic work. Where a topic is genuinely shared with homeowners, the guidance here is still written for the operator who manages a well as infrastructure.

Neutral and independent

Commercial Well Service is an independent, neutrally branded resource. It is not tied to any single contractor, and it does not verify licensing or publish ratings or reviews. Where a rule is provincial, the site names the authority and links to it rather than asserting a national standard. Field work is always carried out by qualified, independent contractors.

The directory

The directory is being built and does not yet contain listings. It is designed around commercial-serving businesses only, and it will not invent or fabricate a business, a rating or a review. Businesses that serve commercial, agricultural or municipal clients can submit their details to be considered.
